George A. Nikolopoulos was born on June 3, 1915. He enlisted in the Army on February 1, 1942 in New York. George was a volunteer with ties to Greece that assisted the OSS Greek Operational group in 1944 as they aided the Greek armed resistance in their fight against the occupying and then withdrawing German Army. He died on November 19, 2003 at the age of 88 and is now buried in the South Park Cemetery, Roswell, Chaves County, New Mexico, USA.
