Born on 20 Octobober 1883 in Dorcester, MA. His mother's name was Catherine Condon. He departed from France on the Van Steuben out of Hoboken, NJ on 30 June 1918 while assigned to C Company, 51st Engineers. He was wounded in an accident on railroad tracks while serving in the 118th Engineer Regiment and was taken to the hospital in Orange, France, where he died on 5 November 1918. He was buried in the town cemetery on 7 November 2018. Per his family's request, he was disinterred and reburied in the private vault of Mr. Henri Ginoux on 12 June 1919 where he remains. His US Army burial card names his unit as the 143rd Transportation Corps.
