Harry Winer was born on October 2, 1913. He served in the Medical Corps of the 66th Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, as a Captain during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 15, 1944, in Belgium. Cpt Winer is now buried in the Chevra Tilim of Boston & Chelsea Cemetery, Everett, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA. He was one of the 65 soldiers killed in battle during the liberation of the Limburg region of the Netherlands and Belgium.
