Foley Gray Mann, aged 35, was born on September 16, 1909, in Central City, Kentucky. He was the son of Charles Walker Mann and Flossie Gray Mann.
Foley served in the 9th Field Hospital during World War II. He was Killed in Action on December 27, 1944, in Verviers, Belgium, when his station was directly hit by a VI Flying Bomb during the Battle of the Bulge. SSgt Mann is now buried in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Bessemer, Jefferson County, Alabama, USA.
