Larry Stephen Semeniuk was born on April 14, 1949, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Edward Semeniuk and Adeline Semeniuk.
Larry enlisted in the US Army. Cpl Semeniuk arrived in Vietnam for duty on December 3, 1967, where he was assigned to and served with B Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, USARV.
On January 17, elements of B Company were on a combat operation in Binh Duong Province when they were hit with enemy small arms fire. Cpl Semeniuk was stuck and killed by the hostile rifle fire.
