James Lennox Scott Dunlop, of Niagara Falls, New York, was born on May 19, 1918, in Stevenston, North Ayrshire, Scotland. He was the son of Alexander Dunlop and Mary McLaren Scott Dunlop.
James served in the 12 (R.A.F.) Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on October 11, 1941, when his Wellington aircraft #Z 8397, during an operation, crashed near Ormsby, Norfolk, England.
