Leslie Arthur Green was born on February 15, 1918, in Wallasey, England. He was the son of Herbert A. and Margaret W. Green, of Montgomery, Alabama.
Leslie served in the #1664 Heavy Conversion Unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flying Officer during World War II. He died on August 7, 1944, during a bombing exercise. His aircraft was seen to go into a spin and crashed in the North Sea.
