Ellis Hamilton Park was born on June 1, 1919, in Ostella, Marshall County, Tennessee. He was the son of William Herbert and Edith Park, of Lewisburg, Tennessee.
Ellis served in the #22 Operational Training Unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Sergeant during World War II. He died on May 4, 1943, when his Wellington aircraft # HE 217 stalled and crashed near the runway while in the circuit at Wellesbourne Mountford Airfield when returning from a night cross-country exercise.
