Thomas Henry Wevers was born on November 1, 1924, in Lackawanna, Erie County, New York. He was the son of Hendrik Jan Wevers and Nellie Peacock Elliott Wevers.
He served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 9, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
