Freeman Allen Trudeau was born on June 6, 1921, in Toronto Municipality, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Harold A. Trudeau and Ethel A. Trudeau. He was married to Constance Kisella. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Sergeant during World War II.
