John Philip Zupic Jr. was born on January 14, 1915, in Barberton, Summit County, Ohio. He was the son of John Zupic and Lucy Aloise Kramar Zupic. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Technical Sergeant during World War II.
TSgt Zupic was Killed in Action on August 20, 1944, during the liberation of Argentan, France. He is now buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, Ohio, USA.
