Kenneth L. Johnson was born on September 10, 1919. MG Johnson was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church. He also was a member of the Middle Plantation Club (Emeritus) and the Pulaski Club, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He entered the military service in Virginia. He served in the U.S. Army during the Normandy Invasion of World War II as a Major General in the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the Army Infantry for 33 years and was a veteran of World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam wars. Retired Army Maj. Gen. Kenneth L. Johnson died on August 21, 1990 in the age of 71 and is now buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
