John Marco was the son of Ms. Rose and John. He had three brothers. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company C, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died from his wounds received in battle on July 26, 1918 in Soissons, France and is now buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet, Albany, New York, USA.
