When Rollin Robert Livick was born on January 15, 1898, in Edgerton, Wisconsin, his father, Robert, was 31 and his mother, Emily, was 31. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private First Class in Company D, 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action but declared "Missing" on July 21, 1918 and is memorialized on Tablets of the Missing, Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, Belleau, France. He also has a marker in Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton, Rock County, Wisconsin, USA. His name is inscribed on the Buzancy monument as a Private.
