Paul Philip Fowler was born on November 14, 1898 in Oswego, Kosciusko County, Indiana. He was the son of Elijah and Jessie (Inman) Fowler. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company K, 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 21, 1918 at the age of 19 and is now buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
