When Lauron Boggs and his twin brother Ed Limon were born on September 1, 1891, in Ithaca, Wisconsin, their father, John, was 34, and their mother, Harriet, was 29. He had two brothers and one sister. He entered the military service in Montana. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company A, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France.
