Domenic Panozzo was born in 1889. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company M, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died from his wounds received in battle in 1918 in France and is now buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum, Kankakee, Kankakee County, Illinois, USA. His name is inscribed on the Buzancy monument as PVT D PANNOCZO.
