When Charles Densley was born on October 27, 1893, his father, Samuel, was 40 and his mother, Anna, was 25. He had one sister. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company D, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action but declared "Missing" on July 21, 1918 and is memorialized on Tablets of the Missing, Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, Belleau, France. He also has a marker in Bluffdale City Cemetery, Bluffdale, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA.
