St. Vith East
Description:
The site is a small rock garden that appears to lead into the forest. It is covered by the surrounding vegetation and gives the appearance of a cave. It is home to a monument dedicated to the 168th U.S. Engineer Combat Battalion.

The site is located 2.4 miles east of St. Vith. From the center of town, follow N626 east in the direction of Atzerath for for 1.2 kilometers. Turn onto Schlierbacher Weg (on the south side of N626; there is a sign that reads 'U.S. Monument') and continue for 0.8 kilometers. The site is on the north side of the road at an intersection between Schlierbacher Weg and a small dirt road.
