The St. Andrew’s Parish Church of Pencoys with Carnmenellis is located on the east side along Church Road. It is situated on the south side of the Church Road and Little Gregwartha junction. Pencoys is a smaller settlement that adjoins Four Lanes immediately to the south. Four Lanes is the main settlement in the ecclesiastical parish of Pencoys which was established in 1881. In earlier times the area was part of the parish of Wendron and the name Pencoys means the end of the wood.
