Nggela Sule Island
Description:
The site includes one memorial, the hulk of a Landing Ship Tank (LST), sunk in July 1943 during the New Georgia Occupation during the Pacific Campaign during WW2.

The site is located in Purvis Bay (Tokio Bay) on the beach on the Nggela Sule Island. The Nggela Islands, or the Florida Islands, are a small island group in the Central Province of Solomon Islands. The site is on the beach edge near the town of Taroaniara.
