Right next to the town church at the base of the town's war memorial next to the D53.
A small grey plaque with gold lettering commemorating Lt Richard Knickerbocker who crashed in the area during WWII.
LT Knickerbocker's brother, Malcolm, was also killed in action on January 25, 1944, while serving as a Co-Pilot of a B-25 in the Pacific theater (396th Bomber Squadron, 41st Bomber Group (M), 7th Air Force).
