Plaque

A dark plexiglass plaque affixed to the war memorial. It contains crossed French and American flags; the insignia of the 9th Infantry Division and the 39th Infantry Regiment; Virgil Allen's picture; a picture of a Bronze Star and Purple Heart medal, and mixed French and English text.
