Inside the church.

A rectangular vertically oriented plaque with dark background inscribed in English in gold lettering with the 486^th Bomb Group insignia in full colors below the inscription. The plaque serves as gratitude from the 446^th Bomb Group Association to the people of Rumburgh for placing a memorial plaque inside the church honoring their fellow members who died in a crash. This appreciation plaque is placed above the said commemorative plaque.

assigned to the 8th Air Force in England, November 1943 to June 1945

resolved at its annual meeting in Gaithersburg, Maryland, U.S.A. May 2004,

for their placing of a plaque as a memorial to

members of the 446th Bomb Group.
