The church contains an appreciation plaque by the 446th BG Association and another plaque to the crew of a crashed bomber plane which also belongs to the bomber group.

Located on the northern fringe of the village overlooking open farmland and is approximately 5 miles south of Bungay. A farmhouse and associated farm buildings, Abbey Farm, lie immediately to the north of the church, and the private garden of the house wraps around the structure to the north, east and south sides. To the south near the church is the Rumburgh village hall.
