2Lt Patrick E. Moran Plaque
Details:
On the town war memorial located just at the entrance to the churchyard. The plaque is attached to the left side of the monument.
A vertical-oriented, rectangular, stone plaque, featuring the photo of 2Lt Moran above a commemoration message. The inscription is written in French in gold lettering. On June 23, 1944, 2Lt Moran’s aircraft crashed in Montchauvet during an armed reconnaissance mission between Falaise and Vire, France. Unfortunately, 2Lt Moran did not survive.
