A rectangular pillar monument honoring the servicemen of the 103rd Infantry Division for their role in liberating the region, particularly through intense fighting in the Vosges Mountains and the Moder River Valley, where they halt the German Nordwind Offensive in early 1945. It features the division's insignia and an English inscription. Designed by Carl L. Reed, with bronze details crafted by his son, Carl A. Reed, the monument was erected by veterans of the "Cactus" Division in partnership with Les Amis de la Libération and was dedicated on June 30, 1991.

Dedicated to the officers and men of the 103rd Infantry (Cactus) Division and attached units of the United States Army and to loyal French soldiers and citizens who assisted in the liberation of this portion of the Moder River Valley during World War II.
Erected by veterans of the "Cactus" Division and Les Amis de Libération,
