The Isolated Grave (ISOB) of Private Cecil Laverne Pendleton who served in the Canadian Army Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, R.C.I.C.

He was born in Canada, but grew up in the US (Ohio).  His parents were American. He was killed in action during Operation Jubilee (the Dieppe Raid) in France in August 1942; his body was not immediately recovered and he was listed as MIA.  His body was later found and he was buried in the Choloy War Cemetery.
