A white marble plaque with gold leaf text. 

 
This plaque is dedicated to Staff Sergrant John McGeachie, who served in the  846th Bomber Squadron, 489th Bomber Group in World War II. His B-24 ("Stubby Gal II" (#42-94933), was shot down in Villers-Saint-Paul, just north of Creil. While the rest of his crew survived the crash (7 POWs; 2 Evaded), SSG McGeachie died in the crash (MACR 8189). This plaque commemorates SSG McGeachie's brave sacrifice.
