This plaque is located on the painted brick wall just to the left of the entrance to the December 1944 Museum. It is located above a similar plaque dedicated to a member of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. Plaque This dark metal plaque features the insignia of the 82nd Airborne Division (to which the 80th Airborne Anti-Aircraft Battalion was attached) in the top left corner, Airborne Parachutist Wings in the top center, and two crossing canons with the number "80" above them in the top right corner. Between theses three symbols there is a sequence of six stars with an arrow in the middle. The English inscription on the plaque commemorates the sacrifice of the 80th Airborne Anti-Aircraft Battalion during the winter of 1944-1945.
