A large white stone panel affixed on a brick wall. The monument was erected in 1946 and is dedicated to the 15 victims of the American crew of the C-47 #42-100801 Piccadilly Filly” and C-47 #42-108884 “Clay Pigeon,” and to the 20 civilians. The design is from J.A. Verhoeven.

The planes were brought down by one of many anti-aircraft guns surrounding the area on September 17, 1944. Picadilly Filly crashed on the farm of family Spliethof while the Clay Pigeon crashed south-west near Bladel. Both were towing a glider and on a mission during the attack.
