Directly to the west of the Chancery Building.


Monument

A memorial wall which a large black plaque is set into. The plaque bears the seal of the US Embassy and the seal of El Salvador as well as the list of 39 Americans who were killed during the 1981-1992 El Salvador conflict. The American citizens include soldiers, nuns, journalists, diplomats, etc. Nearby is another monument that includes the names of the US armed forces and Salvadoran military members who were killed in action in El Salvador.
