Details:

The entrance to the American POW Cemetery behind Cell Block 4, beyond the original prison walls.  Note that the American Cemetery at Dartmoor Prison does NOT have public access as it stands within the limits of the modern-day convict prison. Commemorative Object A stone arch with a bronze plaque serving as the entrance to the American POW Cemetery, erected in 1928 and donated by the United States Daughters of 1812.
