Details:
On the side of the road Les Combes off of the D3.
A boulder carved so a horizontal bottom half supports a vertical upper half made of the same stone. The boulder is set on a stone slab and bears a plaque commemorating American aviators of the B-17 'The Diplomat' (42-102967) of the 569th Bomber Squadron, 390th Bomber Group, 8th US Air Force.
