A framed and roofed wooden board on which a plaque surrounded by 4 photos of 2Lt Wikholm are mounted. The plaque is inscribed in French telling the mission and fate of 2Lt Bradford on March 18, 1944. The photos surrounding the plaque include his wedding with Marry Ellen, his headstone, etc.

A quelques mètres de là, le 18 Mars 1944, est tombé le P 38 Lightning du 55ème Fighter groupe de la 8ème Air Force Américaine. Son pilote. le lieutenant Bradford Wikholm fut tué dans le crash après un combat aérien. Il resta aux commandes de son avion jusqu'au dernier moment afin de ne pas percuter l'église de Saint-Pierre-Bois et éviter ainsi de gros dégâts à celle-ci et aux maisons du village de Hohwarth.
Le 18 Mars 2004, le frère de Bradford est venu en ce lieu pour inaugurer la stèle et ce panneau fut dévoilé le 22 Mars 2014 par le Maire monsieur Daniel Gross.

A few meters away, on March 18, 1944, the P38 Lightning of the 55th Fighter Group of the 8th US Air Force fell. Its pilot, Lieutenant Bradford Wikholm, was killed in the crash after aerial combat. He remained at the controls of his plane until the last moment in order to avoid hitting the church of Saint-Pierre-Bois and thus avoiding serious damage to the church and the houses of the village of Hohwarth.
On March 18, 2004, Bradford's brother came to this place to inaugurate the stele and this panel was unveiled on March 22, 2014, by Mayor Daniel Gross.
