The grave is located along the wall, near the entrance gate, on the right side. Isolated Burial


This grave is marked by a white marble, cross shaped headstone.

Eleanor Bradley Peters lost her son 1LT Edward McClure Peters (1st Infantry Division) on March 3rd, 1918. After the armistice, she moved to Thiaucourt, France to be by her son's grave at the St. Mihiel American Cemetery. She never returned to America, and when she died on November 1st, 1941, she was buried in the Thiaucourt cemetery with a headstone identical to her son's.
