Joseph Wildrick entered the military service in Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company H, 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918. There is a memorial in the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery in France in his honor, however, his body was returned to his family and he is interred in Wyalusing Cemetery, Pennsylvania.
