Assigned to Company M, 46th Infantry; transferred to Company M, 28th Infantry; to Company K, 28th Infantry. Private first class, July 19, 1917; private, January 19, 1918. Overseas October 31, 1917. Battles: Cantigny. Wounded May 28, 1918; died of wounds July 20, 1918. Buried in Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, Belleau, Aisne, France—grave 69, row 9, block A.
