Ronald Floyd Adams, Sr. was born on December 31, 1921 in Homer, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. His father is John Floyd and his mother is Jodie Secton. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Corporal in the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He was Killed in Action on January 7, 1945 (at the age of 23) in Belgium and is now buried in Memory Park Cemetery, Longview, Harrison County, Texas, USA.
