Guy Franklin Bollinger was born on November 27, 1890 in Bedford, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Bolinger and Mary Ann Warmuth Bollinger. He went to Camp with Co. L from Bedford and was in the South a long while before he was transferred to France. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 112th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 27, 1918 in France at the age of 27 and is now buried in Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, USA.
