Frederick P. Haddox was born on July 10, 1899 in Wood County, West Virginia. He was the son of Jasper Newton Haddox and Bird E. Haddox. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Comapny A, 10th Machine Gun Battalion, 4th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on November 3, 1918 in France at the age of 19 and is now buried in Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA.
