Orlando E. Newcomer was born in 1896. He was the son of William Filmore Newcomer and Jennie May Rinehart Newcomer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the Company G, 112th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action in 1918 in Chateau-Thierry, France and is now buried in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, USA.
