Walter A. Eastwood was born in December 1895 in Vermont. He was the son of Frank Myron Eastwood and Lemyra Ellis Eastwood. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action in October 1918 in France at the age of 22 and is now buried in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA.
