Ralph Cecil Robinson was born on June 7, 1894 in Halifax, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was the son of Joseph Watson Robinson and Joseph Watson Robinson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in HQ Company, 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died of pneumonia in France on October 22, 1918 in France at the age of 24. He is now buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA.
