Roy W. Reno was born on July 22, 1883 in North Wilbraham, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Alfred Reno and Julia O'Brien Reno. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company F, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1918 in Chateau-Thierry, France and is now buried in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, USA.
