Thaddeus L. Roderick was the son of Joseph Rodrigue and Mary A. Rodrigue. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Lieutenant in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died from his wounds received in battle on September 18, 1918 and is now buried in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington, Franklin County, Maine, USA. His name is commemorated on the tablet inside a church in Belleau, France and ranked as a Sergeant.
