Robert Patrick Bickley was born on January 17, 1924 in Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona. He was the 20 year old son of Ernest A. Bickley (Champayne, IL) and Anna "Blanche" Haley (Winfield, KS) of Arizona. He was single, lived in Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona and was a Private in the U.S. Army, 1st Infantry Division when he was killed on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France during World War II. He is now buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, USA.
