Carmine Ciange entered the military service in Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Technician Fifth Grade in the 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Division. He died on August 1, 1944 and is now buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France. His name is commemorated on the First Infantry monument in Mons, Belgium and ranked as a Corporal.
