Bill Gorski was born in 1917 in Massachusetts. He enlisted on 21 November 1942 at Utica, New York. He worked in a textile factory before he enlisted. Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on July 30, 1944 in France and is now buried in Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial, Neuville-en-Condroz, Arrondissement de Liège, Liège, Belgium.
