Willard L. Glenn was born on October 11, 1911. He was the son of Warner Henderson Glenn and Nannie Love Barden Glenn. Willard served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Technician Fifth Grade in the 33rd Field Artillery Battalion, 1st Infantry Division. He died on August 29, 1944 at the age of 32 and is now buried in Richmond National Cemetery, Richmond, Henrico County, Virginia, USA. His name is commemorated on the First Infantry monument in Mons, Belgium and ranked as a Corporal.
